I practiced 24 Posture QiGong daily for a year before becoming certified. Originally, my interest was solely in energy manipulation in and around the body. Since I began, however... (video after the break)
I have noticed past issues I've had with asthmatic and bronchial symptoms greatly reduced. Also, my left foot had 5 yrs of surgery performed for a club foot (Talipes Equinovarus) when I was very young - and back then the cuts were large. I had a lot of scar tissue causing pain then developed arthritis at an early age at the base of the toes. After just a couple of months doing 24 Posture QiGong daily, the pain had reduced significantly and I have regained a lot of balance which was not there before.
If you are looking for a workout that is gentle on the body, but gives a good stretch to every muscle - this is it! But it goes well beyond the physical. You are, without even needing to know how, working the subtle energies of the body. The Meridians, or energy channels. It is here where the core work and healing to the body are done. Enjoy the tingle in your fingers and toes - it means the energy's flowing ;)
